Summer, the Season of Good Works!
Güzel İşler Fabrikası continues its efforts with the goal of creating high-quality learning environments that support the intellectual, artistic, and social development of young people. With this understanding, the GİF Summer School will meet again in summer 2025 with middle and high school girls for the second time.
The program, which will take place from July 1 to August 1, will run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10:00 to 16:00.
Prepared with rich content ranging from literature to philosophy, from grace to volunteerism, the program aims to help young people discover themselves, collaborate in creative production, and develop a value-based perspective. Summer School features an interdisciplinary structure that combines theoretical and practical content.
The program aims to foster participants’ growth in aesthetic sensitivity, critical thinking skills, social responsibility, and awareness of values, offering a safe and inspiring environment where they can uncover their individual talents, build social relationships, and express themselves in multifaceted ways.
GİF Summer School ’25 will be held at the GİF Safveti Paşa campus.
What Awaits You at GİF Summer School ’25?
The rich and interdisciplinary content of GİF Summer School is structured around the following themes:
Literature and Writing
Creative writing workshops, book readings, and literary discussions aimed at developing young people’s language and expression skills.
Artistic Activities
Hands-on art workshops that develop manual skills, aesthetic perception, and patience.
P4C – Philosophical Thinking
Sessions conducted using the philosophy method, focusing on thinking through values and constructing meaning.
Values Education
Interactive exploration of fundamental values related to social, cultural, religious, and individual responsibilities.
Grace and Etiquette
Practical activities on aesthetic behavior in daily life, body language, etiquette rules, and social courtesy.
Volunteerism Training
Sessions designed to increase social responsibility awareness, emphasizing community contribution and active citizenship.
Kitchen Workshop
Sweet workshops (e.g., aşure, lemonade) that combine a culture of sharing, collaborative production, and elegant presentation.
Cultural Activities
A learning process supported by documentary screenings, art excursions, and conversations.
