Turkey Youth and Education Service Foundation ("TÜRGEV" or "Foundation") places importance on the confidentiality of your personal information and is committed to keeping your personal data secure.
This clarification text has been prepared by TÜRGEV pursuant to the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("Law") and the Communiqué on Procedures and Principles to be Followed in Fulfillment of the Clarification Obligation, to inform dormitory students, prospective students, scholarship recipients, scholarship candidates, donors, business/project partners, visitors, users visiting the https://www.turgev.org/ website, internal solution partners/suppliers, employees and officials of cooperating institutions and organizations, and other third parties about the personal data collected and processed within the scope of activities carried out for the Foundation’s purposes.

Methods and Legal Grounds for Collecting Personal Data
TÜRGEV collects personal data directly from scholarship recipients, scholarship candidates, dormitory students, prospective dormitory students, donors, visitors, online visitors, and internal solution partners/suppliers themselves, as well as from CCTV, log records, physical and other communication channels in audio, electronic, or written form, in compliance with the personal data processing conditions set forth in the Law. The data are collected proportionally to the purposes of maintaining and improving Foundation activities and in accordance with the legal grounds specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law.

Purpose of Processing Personal Data
TÜRGEV may process your personal data in accordance with the fundamental principles set forth by the Law and within the scope of personal data processing conditions and purposes in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law, for the following purposes:

Conducting necessary work by relevant units to carry out Foundation activities and managing associated business processes

Planning and/or execution of effectiveness/efficiency and/or appropriateness analyses of Foundation activities

Planning and/or execution of business continuity activities

Planning, auditing, and execution of information security processes

Monitoring Foundation finance and accounting operations

Planning and execution of Foundation operational processes

Planning and execution of internal and external training activities of the Foundation

Managing relationships with business partners and/or suppliers

Tracking requests and/or complaints

Monitoring Foundation legal affairs and fulfilling legal responsibilities

Planning and execution of operational activities to ensure that Foundation activities comply with Foundation procedures and/or relevant legislation

Providing legally required information to authorized institutions

Planning and execution of Foundation audit activities

Ensuring the security of Foundation campuses and/or facilities

Ensuring the security of Foundation operations

Procurement of Foundation campuses and movable assets

Recipients and Purposes of Personal Data Transfer
Collected personal data may be transferred to our business partners, suppliers, legally authorized public institutions, and legally authorized private institutions, in compliance with fundamental principles of the Law and within the personal data processing conditions and purposes set forth in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law, for the realization of the purposes mentioned above.

As a data subject, you have the following rights under Article 11 of the Law:

Application to Exercise Rights of Data Subjects
To exercise your rights concerning your personal data, you may submit requests for changes, updates, deletions, and other related matters through the "KVKK Application Form" accessible on the TÜRGEV website.
