GIF Meetings: Marbling Making Event

As part of the GRF Meetings, we will host students from Arnavutköy ITO İbrahim Çağlar Imam Hatip High School on campus to hold a Marbling Making Event.

In this event, students will learn the basic techniques of marbling, a traditional Turkish art, and have the opportunity to create their own marbling works.

During the event:

A brief introduction will be given about the history and cultural significance of marbling.

Practical demonstrations will be given on dye preparation and water pattern-making techniques.

Students will create their own unique patterns and complete their works.

This workshop, intended to be both educational and enjoyable, will help students discover their artistic talents and develop their attention and patience skills.
