Against Online Violence and Hate: #StopBullying

With the Online Bullying Awareness Campaign, we aim to raise public awareness by providing children, young people, parents, caregivers, and educators with information and tools that will empower them in the online environment.


At TÜRGEV, we work to develop transformative and restorative policies that address social issues related to youth and education. One of the most pressing and current problems young people face today—online bullying—has therefore become one of the focus areas of our projects.

Our Steps

Under the name “Online Bullying Awareness Campaign” and with the slogan “#StopBullying,” our social responsibility project aims to reach children, families, and educators through social media platforms and the website www.zorbaligiengelle.org. The goal is to empower internet users of all ages and protect them against online dangers.

To transform the project into a nationwide campaign, we organized a launch event, bringing together highly esteemed experts and opinion leaders. During this gathering, we delivered a presentation addressing the urgent issues related to online bullying and shared the steps TÜRGEV has taken in this area.

Through the Online Bullying Awareness Campaign carried out with the slogan #StopBullying, we created content for parents and educators to provide psycho-cultural support for children. Our approach focused not only on the victims of bullying but also on the children exhibiting bullying behavior, and we carried out a targeted social media communication for children and young people.

With two powerful videos—one promotional and one a call to action—we increased campaign awareness and visibility, especially on social media.

We published an awareness guide on our campaign website to help users understand and prevent bullying. Additionally, we created an e-learning module specifically designed for parents and educators, accessible through our website. This module includes key concepts, preventive measures, and suggested solutions related to bullying. To help visitors navigate the website and find the right content, we developed a chatbot. With minimal content and a clean interface design, we prioritized user experience.

We shared bullying stories submitted by our followers in their own voices as videos on social media, forming an organic community of individuals who discuss the concept of bullying and share their personal experiences and thoughts. Legal questions sent to us via direct message were forwarded to experts, and we compiled the most frequently asked questions along with their answers and published them in the FAQ section of our website. Especially on Instagram, we presented rich content through animations, typographic designs, and subtitled videos tailored to the aesthetic and content preferences of children and young people.
