With the support of the Turkish National Agency, we carried out the Erasmus project titled Digital Transformation for Education.
In the mobility program attended by 15 youth workers from Finland and 15 from Turkey, participants had the opportunity to explore the potential impact of digital transformation on education and to experience various aspects of education shaped by technology.
During the Finland phase of the project, the participants from Turkey received training on effective digital assessment, feedback tools and examples, and the benefits of digital evaluation and feedback. They listened to experiences shared by individuals familiar with the Finnish education system. They conducted a technical visit to Arcada University of Applied Sciences, took part in a cultural exploration on Suomenlinna Island, visited the National Library of Finland, and experienced its digital study rooms.
In the Turkey phase of the project, 15 participants from Finland visited various institutions in Istanbul and attended seminars related to digital transformation in education. Prof. Dr. Filiz Aydoğan led a comprehensive two-day workshop exploring how digital transformation can be integrated into the Turkish education system. Participants had the chance to visit and explore digital learning environments at institutions such as the Women and Democracy Association (KADEM), Palet Schools, Eyüpsultan Municipality, Sabancı University Digital Campus, and Rami Library.
