Under the guidance of instructor M. Nida Özbenim, how about getting acquainted with the art of Kat'ı, where paper is delicately carved and transformed into art—a meeting point of patience and aesthetics?

In this special workshop, you will learn the history of Kat'ı (the art of paper cutting), which developed in the Ottoman period as a refined companion to the arts of illumination and calligraphy. You will also experience fundamental practices such as pattern drawing, cutting techniques, and composition building.

Kat'ı is not just a visual art; it is a craft that requires deep focus, care, and inner calm.
