Summer, the Season of Good Works!
GIF Summer School is a specially designed educational program aimed at enabling young girls to make productive, high-quality, and well-rounded use of their summer period through a comprehensive development process.
The program will be held between June 30 – July 31, 2026, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10:00 to 16:00, at the GIF Safvetipaşa and GIF Ankara campuses, and will be offered to middle and high school students.
Within the scope of the Summer School, participants will engage with rich content in the fields of thought, art, culture, production, volunteering, and spiritual development. While acquiring new skills, they will also have the opportunity to develop themselves socially and culturally. The program is designed not only to help participants gain knowledge, but also to encourage them to think, produce, collaborate, and develop a sense of responsibility toward the society they live in.
During the workshops and trainings to be held throughout the program, participants will:
- Improve their questioning, reasoning, and critical thinking skills through the Thinking Workshop (P4C),
- Participate in reflection and meaning-making processes on fundamental concepts of life through the Concept Workshop,
- Strengthen their written expression and communication skills through the Writing Workshop,
- Support their spiritual development through Asma al-Husna, basic religious knowledge, and the exemplary life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him),
- Gain awareness in etiquette, manners, and social communication through the Elegance Workshop,
- Acquire knowledge and skills for the conscious and proper use of the digital world through the Digital Communication Workshop,
- Increase their emotional awareness through Art Therapy practices,
- Experience production, sharing, and teamwork through the Culinary Workshop,
- Develop their manual skills through Punch and Needlework Workshops,
- Gain awareness of city, culture, and civilization through the Istanbul Workshop,
- Gain experience in social responsibility and civic awareness within the Volunteering Station.
The application deadline for students who wish to participate in GIF Summer School 2026 is June 25, 2026.
